H&R Block is no longer starting new Easy Savings accounts through H&R Block tax offices. However, all existing Easy Savings accounts remain unchanged. If you already have an Easy Savings account, you can continue to easily access your cash with the H&R Block Easy Savings ATM card, good at any NYCE or Cirrus location.*
The H&R Block Easy Savings account provides:
H&R Block now offers a savings account called the H&R Block Emerald Savings™ account which is accessed using the H&R Block Emerald Prepaid MasterCard®. The Emerald Savings account is also offered by H&R Block Bank through H&R Block tax offices and allows you more ways to access your money. Not only do you have access to ATMs worldwide, but now you have the added convenience of being able to transfer funds from your savings account to your H&R Block Emerald Card® and can spend those dollars anywhere MasterCard® debit cards are accepted.

Interest on the H&R Block Easy Saving and the H&R Block Emerald Savings accounts will accrue daily and be credited quarterly. If you close your account prior to the crediting of interest, you will not receive the accrued interest.
