    Yes, paper applications may be faxed to 816-854-8050 or mailed to: P.O. Box 10364, Kansas City, Mo, 64171-0364. Please note this method may add 7-10 business days to the standard processing times due to the exchange of mailed documentation and signatures.

  3. If I deposit more than $250, does the rate change?
    No.

  5. Do you offer this rate for CDs set up for a business?

  6. What is the penalty for early withdrawal?
    You will owe 90 days interest.

  7. How long are these rates good, and if I mail it in do you use the postmark to secure the rate?
    The length of time has not been determined, and as long as the postmark is not after the rate was in effect, we will honor the rate/APY.

  8. Can I put the CD in the name of a trust?
    Yes. Please follow the instructions for submitting a paper application under #2 above as we are not able to accommodate Trust applications online.

  9. Is Block Bank FDIC insured?
    Yes, deposit accounts and IRAs are insured up to $250,000 per depositor.

  10. What is the grace period?
    10 days.

  11. Can I use more than one Financial Institution to Fund the CD?
    Unfortunately that option is not available if you open the account online. If you fill out the manual application, you may send in more than one check to fund the CD.
