Roth IRA Contributions

You can contribute up to $4,000 to your Roth IRA or to the amount of your earned income if it is less than $4,000.

If you also make a contribution to a traditional IRA, your total IRA contributions cannot exceed the $4,000 limit.

If you are age 50 or older, your contribution limit is $5,000.
