Although TaxCut allows you to e-file the state return and federal return separately, we recommend that you e-file them at the same time. If you choose to e-file them separately, you must e-file the federal return first, then wait 2 or 3 days for an IRS acknowledgment before e-filing the state return.
Only 1 state return can be e-filed per year. The program will, however, prepare up to 2 additional states (3 total) that can be printed and mailed.

- Open your TaxCut return.
- Click Take Me To.
- Scroll down to the Electronic Filing section, and select E-file State Return Separately.
- Click Go To.
- Follow the instructions to e-file your state return separately.
