Before recommending investment opportunities to clients, extensive financial detective work is involved. H&R Block Financial Advisors is looking for individuals with a keen eye for market trends to work in our Research Department as securities analysts.

Following hands-on training and completion of Series 7, 63 and 16 exams, analysts concentrate on specific industries, such as banking, health care, retail, semiconductor, software, telecommunications or utilities, while continually monitoring and researching companies and economic trends to uncover undervalued stocks.

Potential candidates should possess at least a bachelor's degree (a graduate degree a plus), strong communications skills, a solid accounting background and stock market knowledge. Experience is preferred.
