Chief Tax Network Officer |
As Chief Tax Network Officer for H&R Block, Sabrina Wiewel leads the company’s newly formed integrated tax organization comprised of both digital and retail organizations, including company and franchise operations. In this position, Wiewel works closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the Board of Directors and other company leaders to further integrate the retail and digital businesses, grow and serve the company’s client base, and improve shareholder and associate value.
Wiewel assumed the position of Chief Tax Network Officer in June 2009 after serving as President of Digital Tax Services since August 2008. While leading the digital group, Wiewel was credited with increasing market share and leading the company’s integration efforts to more effectively align retail and digital offerings to better serve clients.
Prior to leading the company’s Digital business, Wiewel was the Senior Vice President, Tax Operations for H&R Block’s U.S. Retail Tax Services division. She assumed this role in May 2007 and worked with the retail tax leadership to ensure all tax-related initiatives and programs were field-focused and received critical field input prior to roll-out. She also played an instrumental role in helping the company identify and drive growth in the expertise marketplace.
Known for her high energy and strategic thinking, Wiewel began her career with H&R Block in 1999 as Director, Product Development, for TaxCut. She quickly rose through the ranks to AVP/General Manager for TaxCut before being named in 2003 Vice President/Managing Director for the company’s Division 53 region, serving the Midwest and South.
Prior to joining H&R Block, Wiewel owned her own consulting firm where she worked with a variety of distinguished international clients. She also held several positions with international companies Eli Lilly and Hallmark Cards, Inc.
Wiewel has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications/Marketing from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Mo.
