Work with clients of TBS to proactively identify, advise and provide solutions to new and existing customers. In this role, you will actively promote and market TBS to high value small business prospects regarding all aspects of our offerings. Our TBS Tax Accounting associates work directly with clients to learn the business and are responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships with assigned clients. Roles exist for full time or part-time employees depending upon location.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

• Experience providing tax, accounting and business advisory services to small businesses.
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principals and tax laws.
• Working knowledge of automated accounting systems.
• Experience using software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Self-starter and goal oriented.
• Strong ability to build and maintain effective organizational and client relationships.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and possess excellent follow-up skills.
• Ability to work under pressure; possess the stamina to meet the time deadlines inherent in the tax and accounting profession.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills to communicate and persuade a wide range of audiences.
