- Michigan taxpayers may also call 1-517-636-4486 to get a Michigan income tax refund status via telephone.
In order to get your state refund status information, you will be prompted to provide:
- Social Security number (SSN)
- Primary Filer’s Last Name
- Tax year
- Filing status
- Adjusted Gross Income (AGI)* or Total Household Resources (THR)
*Adjusted Gross Income is found on line 10 of your MI-1040 on your state of Michigan taxes. Total Household Resources are found on line 33 of your MI-1040CR, line 32 of your MI-1040CR-2 or line 37 of your MI-1040CR-7.
